The Office of Research Faculty Development Series (FDS) is a comprehensive curriculum designed to educate WSU Faculty in all aspects of successful proposal development and award management.

The Productive Proposal Writing Track (PPW) which guides chair-nominated participants through the development of a competitive proposal.

The Faculty Education Track (FET and the Grants Management Track (GMT) offer educational opportunites for WSU faculty. The long-term health of any research enterprise requires a solid foundation of well funded and informed faculty. Training in project managment and proposal development is an art and a skill essential to such success.

There are 37 exciting and infomative sessions scheduled specially designed to stimulate enthusiasm for proposal development and to build confidence in junior and senior level faculty on pre & post-award topics.

  • Seminars: Life of a Sponsored Project, and Peer Review
  • Roundtables: Facilities and Administrative Costs
  • Special Sessions: Human Subjects and Bio-Safety
  • Highlights: Office of Research Mission to DC and Seed Grants
  • Forums: Data, Financial, and Personnel Management
