OGRD Items:
-REX form is no longer required for NIH progress reports and continuations: Renewals and supplements will still need a REX form. A new budget is not required, unless departments want to make a change other than a straight pro-rate. – Brenda Griffin
-February Grants.gov submissions: Please submit your February Grants.gov proposals 3 days ahead of time. As the deadline approaches, the Grants.gov electronic site becomes very busy, and upload of proposals slows down. – Brenda Griffin
-Reminder: Sponsored Program Administrators One Day Conference, February 7 th at the University Inn in Moscow . This is specifically for WSU Research Administrators. We have 33 signed up as of now, but would like 40 or more to register. Cost is $40 and includes a light breakfast and a buffet style lunch. We will also be giving awards for the first time, including possibly Service awards and awards for contributions in your field. You can nominate people at the start of next week on our website. - Grants.gov printing: The recent NIH video-conference mentioned that Grants.gov proposals could be printed by doing a “print-to-pdf” function. We tried this in our office, and the result was not acceptable. Please print out each pdf and form individually to bring to our office with your rex form and budget. – Brenda Griffin |
