NOVEMBER-27-2006 MEETING:

OGRD Agenda Items:

Brenda Griffin:

- Carrie Johnston (Grant and Contract Coordinator) introduction, she came to OGRD from SPS.

- Explanation of the Coordinators roles and responsible departments/areas. This information can be found on the OGRD website and on our Quick Guide.

- Subcontracts are being logged into the OGRD Gateway Database now and you can look for items with a G number there.

Dan Nordquist:

- OGRD Gateway Database discussion: If you see any issues let us know via email or phone call and we will update as soon as we can. - Dan and Derek Brown doing monthly database reconciliation to keep it current and correct - We have to make sure to get as much information to go into the database as we can because the information is going into the WORQS database. - The current database is really version 0.7 or so. It grew bigger than expected and our goal is an integrated database process.

- AAALAC was here the week of November 13 th doing an audit of our animal care records. This is voluntary on our part but can be helpful in the future if Agencies see we are AAALAC approved.

- Credit Sharing: Related to the Multiple PI thing from the Federal level. This is new to us as you can have multiple PI's from multiple Universities on the same project. No CO-PIs. The expectation is that we will have a policy on multiple PI's at some point. We want to know how we will split information and monies and who will get credit for all of that.
